General conditions

1.RESERVATION

ChaletSpecial operates as a  booking service on behalf of owners  and their  accomodation(s) as they ar featured on our website;
ChaletSpecial will accept only bookings from persons older than 23 years of age.

As soon as we have received an electronic,  written, or a reservation by telephone we will send you a digital confirmation/Invoice within 5 working days. In case there is no email adress we will sent the confirmation/Invoice by postman.

In case it appears that a reservation cannot be carried out through faults in the various systems or bookingsadministration then ChaletSpecial can cancel such a reservation without any payment due.
A traveling- and cancelations surance is not mandatory, but we strongly advise you to take one.It has tob e purchased in your own country.

2. PAYMENTS

a.       Payment (first payment, 50% ) needs to be made within 7 days after your booking is confirmed according to the date stated in the Invoice. The balance needs to be payed 4 weeks prior upon arrival.. Bookings made less than 4 weeks before departure need to be payed at once in full.

  1. Lessor is  binded by acceptance of the first payment. The person renting/booking is binded after payment of the first payment/deposit as stated in  2.a
  2. The price on the Invoice is binding.

3. PRICE

The prices on our website and in our brochure are not binded.ChaletSpecial has the right to make changes in the rates and prices and charge these. At the moment of booking you are informed of the current price. When you have received a confirmation you cannot claim new special offers.

3. BOND
A bond is charged as a collateral for damages should the occur. The accomodation needs to be left in time and in the same state as found upon arrival, except for normal wear. The sum of the bond will be refunded to your bank account within 2 weeks after your departure.

4. CANCELATION
A cancellation needs to be made in writing. When you have no cancelation insurance the following rules apply:
a.       When you cancel more than 4 weeks prior to arrival you will be charged 50 % of the booking value. (without the bond)
b.       When you cancel less than 4 weeks prior to arrivaldate you will be charged 100% of the booking value.(without the bond)

5. RENTING THE ACCOMODATION
Included in the rental price is:
–         Rental of the accomodation during the stated period of time.
–         Use of gas, electra and water.
Not include in the rental price:
–         End cleaning (mandatory and stated in your Invoice)
–         Reservationsfee (mandatory and stated in your Invoice)
–         Servicepackage (optional)
–         Fees for the Campsite and Taxes (mandatory and to be payed upon arrival at the            campsite  “de Holle Poarte”)

Arrival: arrival in the accomodation after 15:00 o`clock  and departure before 10`o`clock in the morning.

Checking in: the keys to the accomodation can be acquired at the reception of the campsite de Holle Poarte upon arrival between 15:00 en 22:00 o`clock, or at opening times stated on their website: www.hollepoarte.nl

The chalet must not be occupied by more persons as agreed in writing. If it is found that there are more inhabitants than agreed, the owner/ChaletSpecial Chalet Rental has the right to deny you access, or if possible charge 25.00 Euro per person per day. This according to the situation on the spot. Groups of young people in the age < if 23 are not allowed.

The admission of pets is without written consent is not allowed. Should this occur without prior consent, the owner/ ChaletSpecial Chalet Rental has the right to deny you continued access to the accomodation.
For linen such as sheets, pillowcases. tea and towels, etc. the lessee must bring along. Please note: the use is mandatory! In some cases it is possible to rent Bedlinen en towels. During your stay you will be deemed to comply with the rules as set out in the rules of the campsite, where you are staying.

6. CLEANING
On the day of departure, the acomodation needs te be left  in the same state as found upon arrival. This means among others the following: no loose dirt, no loose hairs in shower/bathroom, everything clean washed, Garbage bags taken away and deposited in the container at the front desk, rubbish bin provided with a clean plastic bag.  Blankets/Bedding folded at the foot end of the beds, refrigerator empty and clean, all food removed. The floors vacuum cleaned.
All things back on the original place! Possibly rented linens and towels collected and deposited by the entrance door.

7. LIABILITY
Tenant:
The lessee is liable for the damage to the rented property, including the damage or loss of (part of) the inventory, caused during the rental period, Unless the tenant can explain that the damage can not be attributed to him/her, his/her family members or guests. The Damage-amount shall be deducted from the amount that is paid under any insurance. Note: you need a travel insurance for these type of damages!

Landlord:
a. Landlord has agreed by signing this contract to deliver the hired accomodation in good condition at the agreed time to tenant.
b. Landlord(star) is required for his/her costs to have a proper home insurance for the rented accomodation with inventory, including for the purposes of the lessee.

ChaletSpecial  Chaletverhuur
ChaletSpecial  Chaletverhuur occurs only as a mediator and can therefore accept no liability whatsoever, if the owner should default in any way, despite our concern to each object. We are not liable for damage caused by fire, leakage, accident, theft or any other reason to tenant, his resident and/or property. If we are forced by force majeure to cancel a lease, we are in no way liable. In such a situation we will refund the amount paid to us with the deduction of the bookingsfee.

Mistakes or errors in our rental programs may   not bind ChaletSpecial Chaletverhuur. Despite the fact that with the selection of our website the greatest possible care is taken there is a possibility that certain information is outdated or no longer correct.  ChaletSpecial Chaletverhuur is not responsible for possible (direct or indirect) damage which is created on the basis of erroneous information via our website.

8. COMPLAINTS
For complaints regarding the accommodation you can contact ChaletSpecial Chaletverhuur.
If you should have legitimate complaints about the cleaning of your accommodation, you should immediately  contact ChaletSpecial ChaletVerhuur at the same day of your arrival  before 18:00. Someone will come to your accomodation regarding your complaint so as to see the problem and or to clean. Please do not clean yourselves, otherwise your complaint is not accepted, since there by ChaletSpecial Chalet Rental has nothing to monitor.
With complaints about the camping you during your stay at the reception of the park.

9. DISPUTES AND DISSOLUTION
ChaletSpecial is entitled to regard the contract as dissolved without formal notice or intervention of the law and/or arbitrator:

  1. If the deposit is not fulfilled at the time agreed above
  2. If at the beginning of the rental period the full rental fee is not met;
  3. If tenant(star) left the hired earlier as booked.
  4. If the lessee(star) fails to attend the hired accomodation on the day, without written, phone, sms, or an e-mail message or without informing that he/she will attend later during the rental period.

The above shall apply also if tenant(star) is prevented by personal or other circumstances. Tenant(star) can never claim  repayment of prepaid rental amounts.
